Yamo’s Italian sausage was a staple in Melrose Park, IL for almost 40 years. After World War II, Francesco “Yamo” Iatarola opened “Yamo’s Super Foods,” where he made, perfected and sold Italian sausage until he retired in 1979.
Today, Yamo’s son Mark Iatarola is bringing Yamo’s Italian sausage back. For the first time since the original store closed, you can now order the same Italian sausage that fed a community for decades.
